How to configure a computer to track network computers that contact my pc.?
Question by sugardaddy1119: How to configure a computer to track network computers that contact my pc.?
I want to track all computers (and other) that log into my home pc.I hope for a fail safe method, but under the circumstances it's unlikely. I suspect intrusion into my system with possibly keyboard and screen monitoring. I doubt that I can rely on any pre-existing log files as they have been removed or otherwise tampered with.

Download a program such as PeerBlock. . . its free, and it will monitor any/all connections to and from your computer. It will block suspicious IP's, but you NEED to configure it to log ALLOWED CONNECTIONS, since the connection you speak of will most likely be allowed (NOT BLOCKED). From there, you can see the IP address of any PC/System that tries to gain access or communicate. With the IP address, you can track ( to the general area only ) the IP, but thats a whole separate guide for a different question. :)
