How do you know if poetry contests are safe or not?

A lot of times poets set up fake sites that say you're entering a poetry contest when It's really just a trick to get more ideas for their poems, or better yet, steal your poem completely. Does anyone know of any sites that you can enter your poetry in for contests that are actually real?

I doubt many are out there to steal your poem.
World renowned authors don't really need that, I don't think
You can always add a copy wright statement to your poem at the bottom.
But then if someone steals it, are you prepared to take them to court?
It's pretty hard to prove plagiarism anyway
