Today I stretched out next to a pure young woman
as if at the shore of a white ocean,
as if at the center of a burning star
of slow space.

from her lengthily green gaze
the light fell like dry water,
in transparant and deep circles
of fresh force.

her bosom like a two flamed fire
burned raised in two regions,
and in a double river reached
her large, clear feet.

a climate of gold scarcely ripened
the diurnal length of her body
filling it with extended fruit
sand hidden fire.

Water and Ice on fungi

Water

After heavy snows here in Michigan (2005), the temperatures rose above freezing for the last week, and much of the snow has been melting.

While hiking in Bald Mountain state recreation area, I found these fungi with water droplets from the melting snows beaded up on the surface. To the lower left, you can see whats left of the snow - it's partially melted snow crystals.

To fully appreciate this macro, you must view it in it's original size.

I want to add my thanks to Cathy for carrying all my camera gear on this hike, so I could focus on my photography! :) (This comment was added at Cathy's suggestion, who felt slighted without any mention of her contribution) :D
